Pastoral Ministries

Pastoral Care
Pastoral care may involve meeting with one of the clergy on a short-term basis, receiving the laying on of hands for healing either privately or at the Tuesday Eucharist, or, where the situation warrants it, being connected with a Stephen Minister. Our ministry at St. Mark’s is to be present with people in their joys and sorrows, caring and loving them in the Name of Christ. Those who desire pastoral care are encouraged to speak to one of the clergy.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers
Lay Eucharistic ministers assist the clergy during liturgies, and they also take consecrated bread and wine to members who are ill or homebound. This ministry directly connects the worshiping members in attendance at the service with those who are absent.
