Youth Ministry - Grand Rapids Episcopal Youth

Grand Rapids Episcopal Youth: G.R.E.Y

G.R.E.Y. is a joint youth program between St. Mark’s and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Churches for 6th-12th grade youth, which also welcomes youth from other Episcopal churches in the Greater Grand Rapids area. We strive to connect the youth of our diocese to each other, our communities, and Christ through weekly formation, monthly social events and outreach activities. We serve breakfast monthly to our neighbors at the St. Mark’s Breakfast Cafe, volunteer at Soup’s on For All, and Family Promise, participate in Access of West Michigan’s Walk for Good Food, go to movies, attend the Episcopal Youth Event (EYE), and visit fun places like Cedar Point and Craig’s Cruisers.

Wednesday Night Virtual Youth Group

Virtual Youth Group is held on Wednesdays via Zoom from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30. It's open to middle and high schoolers alike and participants can join in and duck out whenever they need to during that time. There's time for prayer, devotions, formation, games, and sharing. We conclude each week with Compline. See you then and invite a friend! (On hiatus for the summer)

-Friday, October 21-Sunday, October 23: Cedar Point Halloweekends Trip (open to all ages)

-Friday, November 4-Sunday, November 6: Charge Retreat at Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City (open to 6th-8th graders in 22-23 school year)  

-Monday, July 4-Friday, July 8:  Episcopal Youth Event (EYE) at the University of Maryland (open to 9th-12th graders in 22-23 school year)
